Mrs. Alethia Williams
Principal
Alethia Henry- Williams, Principal of Kingsway High, joined the Kingsway Family in September 2000, in the position of Home Economics Teacher. Alethia has 19 years’ experience in teaching and has over 11 year experience in School Administration. She has served in the capacity of coordinator, Head of Department, Examination Coordinator, Coordinator and Vice Principal.
Alethia who holds a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of The West Indies, a BA in Food and Health from the University of Technology and a Diploma in Education from Shortwood Teachers College. Mrs. Williams is also a certified Evaluator of Adventist Institutions. She is a member of the Reground Seventh Day Adventist Church, serving as Sabbath school Superintendent, Sabbath School teacher and Interest Coordinator; and is member of the Association of Principals and Vice Principals, County of Surrey 2013- present.
Her greatest strengths include: collaborative leadership, strategic planning, empowering educators to develop their leadership and instructional skills, coordination and leadership in community and pedagogical programs, and identification / implementation of organizational programs. She is a strong believer that principals ought to aspire to build a school culture and educational program conducive to student learning and development. Families are under tremendous challenges today, and she seeks to foster positive behavior, student and faculty teamwork, and cooperation in the school environment.
Alethia has been married to Dennis Williams for over 18 years and the union has produced a son DLajaui.
